You may have noticed that I’ve been a little absent from the interweb community lately. It’s partly due to my travels to Helsinki and London, but largely it’s due to a new project.
Yes, it’s official: I’m writing a new novel.
I can’t say too much about it yet, I might break the spell of a new found love, but I can tell you I’m so excited I can hardly contain myself. This is a story I’ve been writing in various incarnations for a few years, but now I’ve got an idea for how to convert it into an interesting (I hope!) tale.
I wrote about my process of writing a manuscript, so you may be able to tell which stage I’m in.
I’m not, however, going to neglect you, my lovely blog readers. I’m going to carry on posting Pappa’s Girl, a story based on my childhood in Tampere. The next instalment should be up in a couple of days.
Wish me luck with my new love affair. Let’s hope it survives the 30,000 word crisis!

Thanks Dan, will do. Especially when I hit the, 'I hate this bloody story, it'll never work' -stage.
